Rossington Amateur Swimming Club (RASC) has a proud history of achievement in and around Doncaster and this is where we aim to be again.
We have three overriding objectives:
- Swimmers to have fun whilst being able to achieve their potential and be given every opportunity to compete in events in which they do not feel ‘out of their depth’
- For RASC to be seen as a club with excellent swimmers, to be seen as a club that does well and a club where swimmers enjoy themselves
- All swimmers should be given the training and opportunities to reach their potential without pressure – it is up to the swimmer to put in the time and effort
The competitions we compete are:
We also run club galas for the competitive swimmers (A & B Squad) and our younger swimmers (C Squad) – click here for more details.
For the more competitive swimmers there are also Individual Championships where a swimmer can test their mettle against their peer group.
We always need the support of parents / guardians when it comes to galas, teaching and sprint nights – click here to view our volunteers page, without the people who volunteer their time and energy the club would be unable to keep running.
