Barnsley Minor League

The Barnsley Minors League (BML) are mixed level galas, suitable for swimmers new to competitive swimming and for experienced swimmers looking for sprint events. There are individual and relay events across the entire range, 10 year olds to Open age, as well as a ‘Cannon' which covers all the age groups and provides a fun finish to the event.

The Barnsley Minor League is made up of four divisions with a promotion / relegation system operating at the end of every year. Each club in a division hosts one gala per year and swims at three of the other galas (this is due to a majority of pools only having four lanes).

In 2008 Rossington are competing in Division 3. The teams competing this year are listed below:

•  Edlington Stingrays
•  Thorne Tigers
•  Scunthorpe Anchor
•  Rossington Rascals

In 2007 Rossington competed in Division 3. The BML results for 2007 are below.
